It’s rare in today’s busy world to have your own private suburban sanctuary. Yet these Glenelg North homeowners, who wanted to create their very own utopia offering complete privacy from neighbouring apartments and residences, have achieved this and more in exceptional fashion.
The undeniable centrepiece of their glamorous space is the grand 1.9m x 2.2m-high modern water feature leading into a shallow pond area with tiled stepping stone plinths. Dual grand stadium steps lead into the ultra- modern pool, accentuated by a custom raised circular infinity-edge Ezarri tiled spa with internally carved seating.
We overcame the project’s extremely difficult access through a tight side entrance pathway and constructed the new main alfresco entertaining area with a full outdoor kitchen, bar and an amazing feature marble stone fireplace.
We were also responsible for the construction of a composite timber day lounge bordered with sunrise silver Alucobond, fully integrated pool room and custom sauna all under the fully cantilevered poolside pavilion. The retaining and external poolside pavilion walls are finished in marble, for yet another touch of decadence.
